Job Description : Minimum 3-5 years’ experience required.

1. Experience in Avaya/Nortel telephone systems installation and administration IP office, BCM 450 and CS 1000, Signaling server, call pilot, communications manager,Media servers, Media Gateways, Messaging for unified communications, Call Management systems. Avaya IP phones, SIP phones, softphones and Polycom.
2. Experience in Avaya/Nortel Data technologies such as QoS, Routing and switching, BSR (best service routing), VPN configuration ( site to site tunneling and client to site ). WAP.
3. Experience in structured cabling (data/telephony) and testing.
4. Certifications :- 
Avaya Certified specialist / Technology specialist ( IP telephony).
Avaya CMS installation/ Administration/ Maintenance and troubleshooting.
Avaya Media servers and gateways/ Administration.
CCNA, CCNP.
5. Knowledge in PC operation/troubleshooting (hardware/software related problems) and knowledge in windows OS (windows 7/ 2008) and MS office 2007/2010.

Sakhr Oman Software Company is looking for a Quality Control Manager, to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to join the Sakhr Oman team and work on our highly scalable and high performance government solutions. This role will be managing software quality team located in Muscat, Oman. This is a hands-on technical role that requires a strong computer science background. This is a visible role that has a high level or responsibility for ensuring the quality of large scale e-gov web solutions.

We are looking for a self-motivated, creative problem solver with a passion for excellence and a capacity for technical leadership. The candidate must be a strong team player who genuinely enjoys working with people and who contributes to a fun, high energy environment.

Essential Functions:

·        -  Managing technical, well performing quality team

·         - Assisting in defining solution enhancements

·       -   Participating in design reviews

·         - Establishing test success criteria

·         - Directing test case creation

·         - Implementing search quality testing tools within the QA team

·         - Working closely with the search engineer development teams

·        -  Assigning and managing work loads of the QC team members

Requirements:

·         6+ years in the software quality

·         Strong technical background
